I’m pleased to finally reveal the cover for Cradle of Sea and Soil, due out June 23rd. Coinciding with this, the wonderful folks at Fantasy Book Critic are also doing a cover reveal!
Definitely take a peek! I talk a bit about myself and my inspirations for the cover’s design direction and also briefly discuss the novel itself.
Along with this reveal, my novel is now up for pre-order. You either navigate to my freshly minted books page or go directly to the novel on Amazon. There’s still some work to be done, but so far everything’s coming together well.
So what’s next?
My focus right now is on ensuring that the novel is completely ready for launch. After that, I’m going to turn towards getting the paperback version up. The process should be quick and painless, but because of Amazon’s current shipping delays it’ll take some extra time for me to receive author proofs and make sure everything looks good. Tentatively speaking, the paperback should arrive late July, if not sooner.
Ideally, I’d like to release an audiobook version as well, but that’s a project on its own and something that can be cost-prohibitive for a lot of indie authors. Yeah, there are a few alternatives I can explore like royalty share, but it’s still something I’m going to set on the backburner for now.
I might also simply wait until the trilogy is up in its entirety; this will allow time for some positive reviews to (hopefully) appear which would help sell an audiobook version. Speaking of which, Stormbringers, the next novel in the trilogy, is currently being outlined. I hope to have it out by the end of the year, preferably October or November.
Overall, I’m excited to finally put my work out there, so go take a look and see if Cradle of Sea and Soil might be something you’d enjoy reading; I would definitely appreciate your support!
